Cybersecurity graduate heading to TMU for Computer Science — because I want to understand the code that ultimately makes or breaks secure systems. 4 certifications. Apple Specialist.
I'm a Cybersecurity graduate from Sheridan College and incoming Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Security got me into tech — the desire to understand what's actually running underneath it is what's taking me to TMU. I want to know systems from the ground up, not just where they break.
Before any of this, I spent nearly a decade working directly with people — managing floors at Ted Baker, selling everything from appliances to gaming rigs at Best Buy, and now helping customers get the most out of Apple products. That background shapes how I think: I don't just solve problems, I explain them in a way that actually lands.
Outside of screens I shoot automotive and travel photography, dabble in cinematography, and have a soft spot for hypercar shows in suburban parking lots at golden hour. If you've seen a Pagani Huayra in Mississauga, there's a decent chance I was there with a camera.
Incoming Fall 2026. Pursuing a CS degree to build deeper foundations in algorithms, software systems, and low-level programming — the technical bedrock beneath everything security-related. A natural next step after cybersecurity.
Two-year program covering network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, cryptography, and enterprise defence. Hands-on labs in threat modelling, SIEM analysis, firewall configuration, and vulnerability assessment. Graduated with four industry certifications: ISC2 CC, Google Cybersecurity, Microsoft SC-900, and CISCO Networking Essentials.
Delivered exceptional client service achieving 95+ NPS scores. Conducted in-depth customer qualification to match needs with solutions, including personalized walkthroughs for Apple Vision Pro, iPad, iPhone, MacBook, and Apple Watch. Coordinated product launch technical setup and support across multiple product lines.
Managed two store locations across Yorkdale Mall and Toronto Premium Outlets. Recruited, onboarded, and trained staff while building a team culture that drove results. Conducted performance evaluations and coaching, analyzed sales data to forecast inventory, and adjusted strategy on the fly — achieving the highest sales in Canada for the year.
Managed store-wide sales across appliances, computers, home theatre, gaming, Geek Squad, and mobile. Directed morning team meetings, set daily sales goals, and ranked in the top 20 sales associates nationwide.
I picked up a camera around age 12 and never really put it down. There's something about freezing a moment that I've always found compelling — the light, the angle, the split second that makes a shot work or not. Over the years I've gone from a basic point-and-shoot to a Canon T5 DSLR to where I am now, shooting on a Sony A6400 mirrorless.
Cars have been the obsession that ties everything together. Automotive photography feels like the perfect intersection of engineering and art — the shapes, the reflections, the atmosphere of a car show at golden hour. I've shot everything from a Pagani Huayra in a Mississauga parking lot to a McLaren P1 rolling through traffic. The hunt never gets old.
Beyond cars, I travel with a camera whenever I can. The Cappadocia balloon shots, the streets of Peru, the Amazon wildlife — those trips changed how I see light. More recently I've been experimenting with video and have started working on a few short films. Once I figure out a way to present them without butchering the quality, they'll live here too.
Open to cybersecurity roles, IT positions, and interesting conversations about where tech and security intersect. Whether you're a recruiter, a fellow student, or just curious — I'd love to hear from you.
